Pros: Flexibility and work from home. Management doesn't care when you come in or go out, so you are pretty much free to do whatever you want. This is very useful if you have some obligations in the middle of the day, like picking up a kid from daycare.

Cons: Extra long hours, no overtime pay. Crappy promotions, crappy bonuses, and crappy raises. Management doesn't seem to know what's going on when important decisions come from above, nor do they seem to know or care about who's doing what in their teams, save a few people.

Pros: Great staff, opportunity for growth, good work-life balance.

Cons: Variety isn't always enough in projects.

Pros: Nothing to say. It is the worst you can get.

Cons: Everything: * 25% less than average salary * 300 hours of unpaid overtime in 10 months. Every month, one weekend is on-call (which is never quiet, and you get calls at 4 AM!) and another weekend is a mandatory 12-hour maintenance, which means you only have two real weekends. * No actual training; you learn nothing here but just do the same stupid routine, and they do not want you to learn anything new so you don't leave. * Management threatens to fire you whenever you complain about the fact that the same position is paid at least 30% higher elsewhere. * Only the top 1% of a huge team get a salary raise every year, and those lucky ones get a 2-4% salary raise! * Management hires their friends and relatives with no bloody experience or knowledge as team leads or senior positions with double your salary, and the brave one who complained to HR was fired a couple of weeks after (excuse: bad performance!!!!!). * When you go on-call, clients are around the world calling you. You have no backup, and you have to freely work for them for more than 19 freaking hours, and management just replies, "Yes, this is part of your job." * You have to work on Canadian holidays too, as it is not a holiday elsewhere!!! I am not sure how it is legal and how they can do it, but unfortunately, whoever complained lost his/her job. If you can afford it, please, please stay away from these savages. They report huge, huge revenue and profit increases quarterly, yet fire 4,000 professionals just to save money, which means management can get higher salaries. Our manager's manager has a college degree and 3 years of experience and works around 20 hours a week and has 6 weeks vacation with a salary of $250K+. Why? Because his best friend is a director! Why is his friend a director? Because his dad was a manager in IBM. The system is so corrupted and dirty. Our team has lost 4 people out of 10. All of them left happily after finding another job with a 50% higher salary with no crappy workload like this. I am praying every day and looking around, hoping to get the hell out of this god-damned evil corporation. Stay away.
