My process wasn't hard. They wanted someone new on the team, so they didn't ask any technical questions. We did, however, discuss my previous jobs and my aspirations.

Good if you have no experience
Test Specialist • Current Employee
Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

Pros: Friendly colleagues who are willing to help you at any cost. A good environment.
Cons: They won't push you to work unless they have to, but when they need to, they ask for results for impossible things at an impossible time. They think they don't have to share anything with you, so employees are not involved in changes at all. By changes, I mean minor changes to the development process or test coverage techniques.

Good company to start in IT
Test Specialist • Former Employee
Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
February 1, 2016
Pros: - Very complex work, which turns out as a good learning experience about processes and job duties.
- Good starting salary.
Cons: - Very hard to get a salary raise.
- If the branch you'll work was created by outsourcing, it is very difficult for IBM to separate customer and company values, making it more customer than company related.
- Very orthodox company, meaning that suits and ties are almost mandatory if you want to be considered as a "real" professional.
