The people in the organizations I was able to be a part of were great. Management (about third line down) were good with communication and happy to help with whatever career direction I wanted to choose. My engineering master's degree was paid for, although I could have gone through an MBA program as well.
Compensation was decent considering I worked from home full time and could live anywhere. Benefits are decent as well.
It's a large company, and teams are usually very geographically spread out. Even though a lot of tools are available to make virtual collaboration easy, it didn't quite hit the mark for me.
