Resources. Plenty of experienced people to help in areas you're not expert in. Any technical book you need is usually available online or shipped to you in printed form.
Flexibility. Ability to work from home when needed is very helpful.
Good work/life balance.
Company direction sometimes misses or doesn't apply to my business unit's product portfolio. This leaves us feeling left behind. The push to the cloud dominates everything, but not all products need to be in the cloud.
Promote employee movement.
Allow employees, especially technical folks, to move around within the company. Encourage this.
