Pay is competitive, work environment is brutal
You can move around in the company and get new experiences. The pay is good. Opportunities are good. You can often times get training or certification through the company. You can stay technical and continue to progress your career or jump into management.
It's not uncommon to work a 60-hour week. The benefits keep eroding. Layoffs are ongoing in my part of the business, and it happens to really great, skilled, hardworking employees.
