Employee-friendly policies and hikes are given even if you do not complete a year. Work-life balance is there.
Although WFH was the forte of IBM, especially for pregnant women or working mothers, after COVID, they are forcing employees to return irrespective of the reason.
Make WFH flexible. It won't impact team collaboration as the team itself is sitting at different locations.
