The interview consisted of a phone conversation, which was relatively lax. I was not asked any technical questions. They mostly asked what I was interested in working on. This probably is not the norm with IBM in the States.

The hiring process consists of applied interviews. After getting your CV screened, you will go through a series of multiple interviews, ranging from a skills interview to managerial and HR interviews.

It was easy, but it still would have been better if I had studied. It all depends on preparation. Anyone can do this and win easily, but it still needs effort. What to do? I am writing this to complete words.
