There are multiple levels of interview, including personal discussion, technical evaluation, and managerial discussion, to check suitability for the offered job profile. Some checks may be essential in terms of performing the role.

It was a nice interview session. I interviewed for the IBM z/VM systems team, working for their virtualization team. Most of the questions were behavioral. Some questions covered background and projects, and also the Linux kernel.

The interview process involved many levels and was difficult. Candidates were asked technical questions based on their resumes and the technologies used in the application. It was a long process.
