I had a great experience interviewing with Indeed. A recruiter contacted me and was very helpful throughout the process. I was given a great deal of information on how the interview would be structured and what the interviewers would be looking for. The interview process is the longest I have experienced (around 7-8 hours), but it is manageable if split over two days.

Instead of taking the phone screen, I opted for the mini onsite. This started with a data structures/algorithms interview. I made good progress on the problem, and the interviewers were very friendly, conversing with me to arrive at the optimal solution. This was followed by a coding exercise on the laptop, where I had 90 minutes to code another problem. I was able to produce a good chunk of code but did not manage to get it running by the end of the 90 minutes. They decided to move forward with the main onsite based on my overall performance.

I scheduled the onsite and had a very positive experience there as well. The onsite comprised of:

• A white-boarding coding interview
• A system design interview
• A code review
• A behavioral interview

I had a positive experience in each of the interviews. The interviewers were friendly, and each one gave me time towards the end for asking questions. The interview process concluded with a closing interview. This was a 30-minute session for me to ask any questions I had about Indeed. I had a very positive experience and left the building feeling satisfied.

I heard back from the recruiter in a couple of days saying that they wanted to go ahead and make the offer. The overall process was smooth, fast, and positive.
