Great pay, great benefits, great work/life balance, and interesting work.
Overall, a great place to work. Inclusive to almost everybody, except conservatives and gun owners.
As a woman who's been attacked before, I have a concealed carry license and always carry my gun in my purse. They won't let me do that here. It makes me feel very vulnerable.
I'm not worried about any of my coworkers. (Everyone's really great!) I'm worried about criminals coming in and hurting me. Or someone hiding in the parking lot waiting to kidnap me on the way to my car, like last time.
But they don't care about any of that. They just want to virtue signal about being a "safe" gun-free zone.
My concealed gun doesn't affect you. It's not for you. It's not about you. It's about women being able to be safe from attackers in your building and in your parking lot. Your "gun-free zone" sign isn't even bullet-proof.
The first coding + CS fundamentals interview was really good. They ask many questions related to CS based on your background and expect you to give short and concise answers. Overall, the interviewer was extremely friendly and helpful.
Karat screen with coding and knowledge, plus an approximately 8-hour virtual onsite with behavioral, coding, architecture design, and resume deep dive. This is a test to fill 30 words.
I first interviewed on campus, and then there was a follow-up OA. I was invited to an Austin onsite. The whole process took a day. I had three rounds of interviews and one coding interview on HackerRank. Each round was an hour. The interview question
