Had Two Technical Rounds.
Round 1: Design Sudoku Game
Round 2: {Most Memorable ;)} Q1: Design a system with multiple components, all within the same assembly. All these components are independent. Design a communication system such that: a. The sender is not aware of the receiver. b. Any new component addition should not change the system implementation. (I guess the interviewer was also not aware of what he was asking ;)
when he said the sender is not aware of the receiver, hehehehe)Q2: Design a system to handle different types of objects and perform an operation on the sender object. a. Design for scalability; it should handle a huge number of different kinds of objects.
Q3: Find whether an input string has a palindrome. Example: Input Samples: "1234xyzyx5678", "abcdefeabc" Output: A boolean value, True if it contains a palindrome, False otherwise. (In this example, the input strings contain "xyzyx" and "efe" palindromes respectively.)
After Round 2, I asked the interviewer how he would solve the questions from Round 2's technical interview.
Very smartly, the interviewer did not take any effort to answer and told me to find it out myself.
