I had my first interview where the person got to know me and my experience. After delivering and choosing the role that was best for me, I was told to wait until contacted again.
Around six weeks later, I received an email from the person who interviewed me, stating that a new person from HR would set up a meeting with the head of the team. After some time (two or three weeks), I had my second interview. The interviewer was amazingly polite and asked concrete questions. It was a pretty good experience.
After this, I was told that the person from HR would contact me with the tech test. Since I didn't have any news and I wanted the position, I sent a few emails but was told to wait.
After two weeks, I sent a new email asking for an update. The new person informed me that, due to a decision made the week prior, they had frozen all recruitment for this position.
This did not sit well with me, as I was the one who had to email to get this update. Around three months of pretty much waiting for updates, only to be told that it was frozen, was an awful feeling.
The other two people involved were pretty much supportive and handled the situation really well, which I really appreciate.
