I applied through the recruiter at my university and secured an on-campus interview. It consisted of three questions covering design, testing, and coding.

I didn't hear back for about two months. Following that, they invited me to their Redmond campus. We had lunch, followed by four forty-five-minute interviews, which were quite tough.

Questions

For a 2D array of integers, if there is a 0 in a position, make its entire row and column all 0s.

Pros: Everyone I've conversed with has been super friendly. There's a lot of cool stuff going on, so it's easy to have a growth mindset here. In these crazy times, my manager's displayed great empathy with the team. Also fairly easy to have good work-life balance.

Cons: Lack of documentation, lack of structured new hire onboarding engineering training, and working with some old tools.
