Good place to learn, but the quality of the work environment depends on the manager/team.

Pros

Systems that handle millions/billions of transactions per month.

Great environment to learn.

Cons

It depends a lot on the team you will work with. My experience was negative. I started in a new team, where most of the members started on the same day as me. There was a lot of ambiguity about what should be developed and little support from other teams that had been working longer on the services we were supposed to maintain. As most of the team was new to the company, we struggled a lot at the beginning until we could understand the services. The manager did not create a friendly environment where we could learn at our own pace and demanded the same kind of results from junior and senior levels.
