I sent in a resume to their website and received an email asking to set up a phone screen. After speaking for roughly 15 minutes about projects I had worked on and questions I had about the position, the conversation was over.

Pros: 10gen is not too big. As an intern, we had lunch and question sessions with the founders and CEO. They gave us choices for our project and hooked us up with mentors. All of the projects were real work that is important to the company. Everyone is friendly; you can just go up and talk to them. They had intern events like movies, laser tagging, etc., every week.
Cons: Doesn't have the crazy perks like a free cafeteria, haircuts, or buses, etc., that you get at big companies like Facebook or Google.
