Software Engineer Interview Experience - Mumbai, India

Process

The interview process consisted of two telephonic rounds, followed by five additional rounds. Two of these were technical.

The questions were quite easy. The first technical round consisted of a design question, followed by basic C++ questions in the second technical round. The other rounds assessed professional fitness and HR suitability.

They mentioned they would provide feedback after one day. The HR representative asked me to send some documents and stated the offer was under review and required approvals. I honestly don't know what that means.

After that, there was no further communication. Who are we kidding? At least they should inform us whether I got through or if my candidature was rejected. But no, they don't care. They don't even respond. This is unprofessionalism at its best, I should say.

One suggestion for people preparing for Morgan Stanley: don't concentrate solely on Data Structures and Algorithms; no one seems to care. All they care about is C++ with STL and some basic scripting.
