Micro-management: A segment of leadership practices excessive oversight, hindering employee autonomy.

Pros: There are no pros to highlight. Instead, a policy that should have empowered employees has become a source of mistrust and frustration.

Cons: The hybrid work policy, introduced to support flexibility and employee well-being, is being widely misused, particularly by managers. While the process officially requires approval from managers and HRBPs for extended remote work, it is clear that some managers are taking advantage of the system for personal convenience. There is a growing perception among employees that the policy is selectively enforced, favoring certain individuals while expecting stricter compliance from others. This disparity is causing deep dissatisfaction across teams. The HR Team is completely aware but remains silent, possibly because they are also abusing it, signaling a larger problem with transparency and fairness.
