Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Italy

Process

I had a first HR call with the recruiter, followed by a 1-hour conversation with the hiring manager. After that, I was given a take-home test (now, seriously, take-home test in 2022?). The phrasing in the test is absolutely obscure, and the requirements are ambiguous. On top of that, make sure you basically take 1 week off because they expect pixel-perfect, production-level code from candidates who, in 99% of cases, have full-time jobs. The cherry on top is that they'll basically ghost you at any moment, and it's you who has to ask for feedback.
