I was submitted through referral and received an email from HR roughly three months later. I then went through four rounds of interviews over a roughly five-week process.
The first round was a standard phone screen, followed by a technical phone interview, then an onsite interview, and finally another technical phone interview with a senior-level engineer.
There was roughly a week between each interview for feedback and scheduling the next step.
The onsite interview consisted of two separate 30-minute manager interviews and an hour-long technical interview with two SREs. The onsite technical interview was of the rapid-fire technical questions variety. In all three technical interviews, the questions revolved around the four pillars: virtualization, storage, networking, and Linux.
The entire process, while a little longer than I might have liked, was straightforward, and everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to.
