Process

I applied on campus.

The first round consisted of basic aptitude and technical questions.

The second round included four logical problems and a half-hour paper-based coding exercise.

Next, there were two technical interviews followed by an HR interview.

Questions

Many overlapping rectangles were given in the first quadrant. I had to find the union of the areas of all the rectangles present inside the first quadrant.

Pros: As a fresher, you will see how the company works multi-region, with vast expertise in different languages. You will be interacting with people from different origins. If lucky, you will be able to build a project from scratch. The team will comprise people in the age group of 22-45.

Cons: A new person with the same experience might be paid double then you. Differentiate people based on their previous income. There is no fixed CTC for the same position. A manager will be earning less than a newly joined developer from IIT.

Pros: As a fresher, you will see how the company works multi-region, with vast expertise in different languages. You will be interacting with people from different origins. If lucky, you will be able to build a project from scratch. The team will comprise people in the age group of 22-45.

Cons: A new person with the same experience might be paid double then you. Differentiate people based on their previous income. There is no fixed CTC for the same position. A manager will be earning less than a newly joined developer from IIT.

Pros: Flex work is great; make your own hours in my team. Access to many learning tools, like Safari Books Online. Good leverage for another job. I just wish I didn't have to use it to be paid fairly.

Cons: Few opportunities to actually learn something past the initial curve. Promotions without a raise is nearly guaranteed. Anything to save a dollar on the employee's salary. No growth opportunity, despite the emails that claim the opposite.
