Oracle is a major international corporation with opportunities around the world. It is a key database and software provider to the majority of companies. Oracle is a professional operation with a large corporate style and a high number of opportunities to move around within the company.

Experiences vary a lot based on the management and the group one is working in. Lots of new college hire emphasis and phasing out of older employees. Trying to move to cloud, but a late start and historic installed base limit the speed of movement. Lots of layoffs in progress and planned.

Push for more internal training and flexibility to develop the workforce. The company's 401(k) offering does not match as well as some other competitors. The stock purchase plan is not very good.
