- You should be a hyped product like Cloud, Mobile, etc. It doesn't matter if the product is making money; the employee doesn't. e.g., EBS, App Server, EM.
- Negotiate your salary as much as possible before you join. You may not see salary increments in the distant future.
- Inquire about the manager you are going to report to.
