Pros: Interesting and challenging work. Good salary and benefits. Great people, peers, and managers. They really care about the product, the people, the users, and their health.

Cons: Like many smaller companies that are still basically a startup, Oura has a somewhat dynamic environment. New people join, some (very few) leave, and direction and priorities change more quickly than at the "dinosaur" companies I worked at. However, during 2022/2023, with about 500 FTEs, there is a noticeable improvement in stability and forward-looking plans.

Pros: Fantastic product, great colleagues, and positive impact on our customers; it feels like a rocket going up, and great opportunities to learn.

Cons: Work can be demanding; and remote work means that you will have late and early calls with offices worldwide.

Pros: Good base pay. Get to wear many hats; a good amount of time off.

Cons: Engineering teams are understaffed and overworked. Management won't hire engineers to properly staff programs. Recruiters lie to potential hires about the value of their RSU shares. They cut corners to deliver mediocre products.
