Their shared frameworks leave little room for running into dependency issues and time-wasting triaging (especially in live), as the paths have mostly been treaded.
The promotion process can take quite a while, even if operating at the same level of output or value.
The con of having well-established framework libraries is there's slightly less room for innovation and experimentation. However, dedicated time for hackathons can help bring ideas into the mainstream for exploration.
The compensation package is average, or at least not better than most FANG companies. You can get a raise coming from a big FANG company when moving here, but always be willing to negotiate.
