A recruiter emailed me to schedule an interview for the position of Structural Design Engineer at Rivian. As a diligently interested candidate, I provided my availability for the following afternoon, which the recruiter confirmed. Being a working pro
1. Phone interview with a member of recruiting. 2. First meeting with a Manager/Team Lead (Informational Breakfast/Lunch). 3. Power Day (8 hours long): * Company overview * Multiple group discussions * Lunch with 3 current employees
Long interview process: * Phone screen (passed) * 1-on-1 interview with hiring manager (passed) * Four more 1-on-1 interviews with different Rivian leaders (did not pass) The process took several days and was conducted entirely over Zoom.
