Their interview process is a well-oiled machine, very smooth. They know what to do and how to time it. In fact, they move very fast for an organization of this size.
In my case, it was a reference, so the hiring manager called me to see if I was interested. From the moment I said "yes" until I signed the offer letter, it was non-stop action!
The communications over email were very clear and timely, with lots of information and resources. They want to make sure you're well-informed for your decision; this is a big plus. They are very open to feedback.
The interview panel had five people, a mix of technical manager, product manager, architect, and senior software engineers. They were all very friendly but professional, and asked no tricky questions.
The managers focused on culture fit and general experience. They want to know your approach to difficult personal relationships, which are part of life.
The architect focused on design and high-level patterns, with emphasis on areas of expertise like front-end, JavaScript, and security.
The engineers focused on low-level technical questions, again about JavaScript, recent experience, frameworks used, etc.
But I have to say the best part was their approach to the programming test. Most companies do a live online coding session with someone watching you type, which I find puts unreal pressure on you. Salesforce, instead, gives you an assignment and you have three hours to work on it, in your own time, with your own tools. This is a MUCH BETTER approach! This is how we work in reality: you can relax, focus, have coffee, and use your tools. Great experience!
