- People are generally very talented and passionate.
- The engineering department is innovative and has great development practices, with an emphasis on writing, mature data engineering, and lots of cool hardware and firmware stuff in addition to frontend and backend development.
- The outlook is strong. Business growth is pretty astounding and will likely continue.
- Occasional reorgs due to shifting priorities can be frustrating for affected teams. This is inevitable with the strategy of trying new things.
- COVID layoffs were probably an overcorrection in retrospect, but that was hard to know.
