Compared to their Bay Area competition, with startups and companies like Google, they are culturally regressive, prone to internal turf wars, and focused on hours not output. - A significant portion of employees are H1B, so expect downward pressure on salary. - Just look at the stock. Multiple layoffs significantly impacting morale, and a short-term future not rosy due to the loss of technology leadership in NAND (late to 3D NAND). - The economy is hot, and this company is not. The company sucks at M&A. - If you are a millennial, this is not the place to be.
