I applied online. The process took five months.
The interview itself took place virtually and was great overall. The interviewer was incredibly friendly, and the technical portion featured a simple poker-themed question. It was a smooth, positive, and highly supportive interview. I panicked and didn't do well since it was my first technical interview ever. But looking back, they themselves were great. This was around the spring of 2024, I believe.

Pros: - A lot of things to do and learn
- A lot of space to grow
Cons: - Management is horrible, and there is a bad culture where a lot of managers don't know how to deal with people.
- Overwork is everywhere, and tired people are a constant.
- Lots of rotation.
- Depending on the assigned project, it's common to face unrealistic deadlines that drive people to crazy amounts of overwork.

Pros: Very exciting business development; well-positioned with very strong traction in the AI space; incredibly strong team across the board; and generally interesting and challenging work.
Cons: Typical startup woes like a reactive engineering culture of selling before building, and some fires caused by tech debt.

Pros: They are the picks and shovels of AI data, which means that you can see what everyone else is actually doing with AI. Amazing marketing and connections in the industry.
Cons: Terrible turnover and work life balance. Management is not leadership. They are there to give you overwhelming orders and change your priorities. That is why one of their core values is "Run through walls". Their strategy is to chase every shiny object in AI and rebrand their data labeling capabilities around that. Advancement is not based on abilities and performance versus becoming part of the inner circle who are only in it for themselves. And now the Govt is a HUGE focus of their business, so make sure that you are ok with that.
