I first applied through their career portal and was contacted by a technical recruiter. They discussed the role and the process with me, and asked some questions about my background.
Next, I was invited to a phone screening, which was a 45-minute technical interview with a principal engineer. On the day of the interview, I joined the meeting, but the interviewer was not present. After 20 minutes, I emailed a recruiter, who asked me to wait a few minutes. The interviewer then joined, seeming relaxed and apologetic for the delay, stating they hadn't been informed of the meeting.
A couple of days after the interview, I emailed the recruiter to mention I had another offer and requested to expedite my process. They replied with "very positive feedback" and expressed a desire to continue, but then scheduled the virtual interviews over three days, two weeks later, around 7-8 PM.
I joined both interviews, feeling exhausted and struggling to concentrate. The interviewers seemed disengaged, presenting a couple of problems that I solved. After that, there was no response from the recruiters. It has been three weeks since then.
I've noticed a trend of recruiters ghosting candidates with this company. I don't understand why this happens, as sending a rejection email shouldn't be that difficult. I have contacted four different recruiters, and it seems like a coordinated effort they enjoy, as none of them have replied to me as of this writing.
