I applied via LinkedIn and was contacted by the recruiter. I scheduled a 30-minute interview. She was very pleasant in scheduling everything.
After the call, I had a pair programming session with screen sharing with a technical team member. He asked two questions, and I successfully solved both, passing all test cases.
The first question was simple, and the second could have been a follow-up to the first, but I approached it differently. Both solutions worked perfectly.
The next day, I received a rejection email. I'm unsure of the parameters used to assess the coding test. The recruiter explicitly stated that the goal was to check the correctness of the solution, and performance would not be evaluated. In general, it felt like a waste of time.
