I was able to move on in the application process through an employee referral. The interview process was very straightforward. I had a phone call to discuss next steps, which would be a group interview where we were designing an API endpoint. Most people didn't have experience doing that, so they were mostly just looking for someone who can work well in a group and has the logical reasoning for it.
I didn't feel very challenged with my project; it just felt like a typical busy work intern project.
Phone screen by Recruiter, followed by a phone interview with a senior leader. The next step was an on-site interview with the local GM and site leadership, including a tour. The final step was a phone interview with a director.
The first interview was a phone interview with the recruiter. The second interview had two group activities: the first was to put scrambled code in order, and the other was to design a class.
The phone screen person texted me late at night (after 10 PM) on a weekday and called a few minutes after I responded. This seems pretty unprofessional, but he's an HR person, so I don't really hold the company responsible.
