Process
The interview process included:
- A management phone screen focusing on soft skills with a manager from the team.
- A technical phone screen conducted via phone and HackerRank.
- An on-site interview lasting 5.5 hours, comprising six slots plus lunch. Four slots assessed soft skills related to management, one focused on coding, and one covered system/architecture design. The full schedule and interviewers' names were provided in advance.
The interview process was very smooth and progressed quickly. The recruiting staff was amazing and very helpful throughout. Although an offer was not extended, they provided detailed feedback on performance at each stage. The engineers and managers conducting the interviews were extremely friendly, and at no time did the interview feel like it involved "gotcha" questions. They were kind even when I stumbled through the initial part of a technical question, which I eventually answered correctly.
The entire process was enjoyable. I would highly recommend it.

Pros: An environment that fosters knowledge sharing and citizenship.
Engineering excellence.
Smart and talented colleagues.
Plenty of opportunities to go beyond your area and role.
Perks and benefits are definitely a BIG plus.
Managers that get out of the way, give you space to shine, grow, expand, and know enough about Eng to support Eng teams and guide them properly.
Disruptive company: you really feel you are working on something important that will have a positive impact in the world.
Cons: Overhead discussing timelines and getting updates of projects very frequently due to lack of visibility, agile habits, and process. This is mainly due to fast growth.
Long working hours. I imagine this can be a problem for some people. Ensure you set your own boundaries. There's plenty to do; time is a very scarce resource :)

- New management is fixing a lot of the legacy cultural and organizational issues.
- Engineering-driven culture, where technologies are streamlined across the organization.
- Fast-paced environment where decisions are made quickly and allows for moving fast.
- Focus on getting things done, which allows for innovative solutions.
Cons: Tools and processes are being created and re-created as the company is still relatively new.
Processes are not very established and are still being introduced.
There is a pretty involved and lengthy performance review process that could be streamlined.
