Had a call with the recruiter. We discussed mainly my projects and technical skillset. This was followed by a screen-shared coding round, which was arranged with one of the senior team members.
Out of the 60 minutes allocated for the technical screening round, the interviewer called late by 5 minutes. He then spoke about my resume and the position for approximately 25 minutes. In the remaining 30 minutes, I was supposed to complete the coding question. They wanted to see nothing less than a working solution and didn't really see the way I worked through to reach it.
The interviewer had reserved a room for himself and ended the interview quite abruptly, stating the room was no longer available.
The worst part was, no one contacted me ever after this round. I sent follow-up emails to the recruiter and interview coordinator, but they didn't care to respond. When people spend their time and energy preparing for an interview, not responding at all is very disrespectful.
Discussion on resume and current work. A technical question.
I don't want to share a question respecting NDA.
