They used to have a Wayfair Labs program for new grads, which was a one-month camp, and then they got placed onto teams. I'm not sure if the program still exists.
Beautiful office in downtown Boston, right on top of the subway/train station. The benefits are not bad.
Some teams have bad WLB. Relatively lower pay.
I had a technical interview and a nontechnical interview. Since I was coming in at an entry level, Wayfair wanted to know if I would be a good fit for the Wayfair Labs program, their entry-level engineer program.
Spent about four hours speaking to engineering managers, solving problems, and talking shop. One group of two focused on database design and operations. Another group focused on object-oriented programming. A third group focused on web development.
There was an initial phone screen with the recruiter that discussed basic technological experience as well as a few behavioral questions. The next round was an online coding challenge, with no time limit. After that, there was a technical interview
