This team was acquired by Workday. The engineers were smart, and the interviews were nicely scheduled.
The initial round was a phone interview, followed by a HackerRank test. All went well, and then I was invited for an onsite interview.
This involved 4-5 rounds, each lasting an hour. It was all coding and whiteboard challenges.
The questions were not difficult, but I had not prepared well, focusing only on design questions. I managed to complete two coding rounds, but one round had four coding questions in an hour. One of them was a dynamic programming problem, and another involved writing code for a cache. It was hard for me to focus on the subsequent rounds after that.
There were also a few behavioral questions with the manager.
