Applied through a referral. The phone interview was set up within a week. The individual interviewing sounded condescending. They didn't seem interested in understanding what I had done and my potential, but were more interested in pointing out areas where I lacked experience. They asked some basic SQL questions that I answered, but then seemed to ask repeated questions to downplay my experience with handling huge datasets. This was followed by a two-hour online test on HackerRank, which covered mostly SQL questions and one programming problem. I honestly ran out of time and couldn't finish the programming problem. After a week passed without any news, I inquired with HR for feedback. I then heard back from the hiring manager, something to the effect of, 'Oh, I'm sorry, I thought I had sent you a response. Sorry, but the team has decided to move forward in a different direction.'
