Description For Radar System Engineer

42dot is seeking a Radar System Engineer to play a crucial role in the development of radar systems for autonomous vehicles. This position involves developing radar system specifications, system integration, and mass production development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radar technology, system integration, and automotive industry standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mass production development and maintenance of automotive radar systems
  • Collaborating with various teams (hardware, software, and system engineering) for radar system integration into vehicles
  • Performing system-level design and performance analysis
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and analyzing system-level problems
  • Ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations
  • Conducting design reviews, project planning, and progress management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant development experience
  • Understanding of radar technology
  • Experience in radar system design and integration
  • Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols (ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in radar development and mass production
  • Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technology production
  • Team leadership or project management experience
  • Understanding of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949)
  • Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, C, C++, etc.)
  • Business-level English proficiency
