Sr. Software Engineer - Data Imports

Addepar is seeking a senior backend software engineer to join their data imports team. This role involves handling large volumes of data and building distributed systems for automated data ingestion and transformation. The ideal candidate will use the newest technology stacks to build the next generation of Addepar's data, computation, API, and research platform. The role requires technical depth, a desire to understand the end business, and the ability to tackle complicated technical problems. Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing engineering solutions, leading project priorities, collaborating with product managers and partners, mentoring other engineers, and promoting engineering standard methodologies. The ideal candidate should have a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar field, experience with object-oriented programming (Java expertise is a plus), experience with large-scale distributed systems, and knowledge of databases and AWS.
