Big Data Engineer - P40

Adobe is seeking a talented Big Data Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, focusing on building next-generation data platforms and solutions. This role combines cutting-edge engineering with innovation to shape the future of digital experiences.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in:

• Developing robust data platforms using advanced big data processing and warehousing technologies
• Creating and maintaining frameworks for data ingestion, storage, processing, and serving at global scale
• Building data pipelines for ALM clients' reports and dashboards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement key interfaces
• Supporting ML engineers and Data Scientists with dataset preparation and model evaluation
• Conducting analysis and presenting insights to influence business decisions
• Staying current with latest open-source projects and technological innovations

The ideal candidate brings:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of server-side development experience, with 4+ years in Data Engineering
• Strong programming skills in Java/Python and related frameworks
• Expertise in Big Data technologies: Delta Lake, Apache Hive, Datahub, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Storm, Trino, AWS EMR
• Deep understanding of data architectures including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Medallion Architecture
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Oozie
• Strong problem-solving abilities and track record of innovative solutions
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a diverse environment
