Description For Cloud Engineer

Adobe is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their Network Engineering organization. This role combines system administration and software development skills, focusing on running and developing foundational, high-scale, business-critical services used by Adobe products, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.

Responsibilities For Cloud Engineer

  • Work with Cloud Engineers team in Network Engineering organization
  • Run and develop foundational, high-scale, business-critical services
  • Participate in regular on-call rotation
  • Ensure reliable service delivery
  • Design, build, deploy, and run next generation services
  • Interact with internal customers to understand needs and enable success
  • Incorporate customer feedback into service improvement

Requirements For Cloud Engineer

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Linux system administration, particularly with RedHat variants
  • Solid knowledge of Internet protocols, particularly DNS and DHCP
  • Experience running services in private datacenter and public cloud (AWS and Azure)
  • Expertise with Python and modern software development methodologies
  • Proficiency with API design and development
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform)
  • Experience with configuration management concepts and SaltStack
  • Experience with monitoring and observability, particularly Prometheus
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
