Description For Product Security Engineer

Adobe Security is seeking a Product Security Engineer to join their team in Seattle. This role is crucial in building secure infrastructure that enables thousands of engineers to deploy code safely at cloud scale. The position combines security expertise with automation and development skills, focusing on creating and maintaining security controls for Adobe's cloud infrastructure.

As a Product Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing security policies across multiple platforms including AWS WAF, Akamai Kona, CloudFront, and Azure Front Door. You'll work on creating automated security controls using modern technologies like Terraform and GitHub Actions, while also being responsible for real-time threat detection and mitigation.

Responsibilities For Product Security Engineer

  • Design, codify, and improve WAF, CDN, and L7 load-balancer policies for public endpoints
  • Develop Terraform/CDK modules and GitHub Actions gates for automated security controls
  • Detect exploit traffic and deploy emergency WAF rules within 30 minutes
  • Stream edge logs to data lakes and enrich with threat intel
  • Partner with Platform, Product, and SecOps engineers on initiatives
  • Run POCs on emerging edge-security tech
  • Provide guidance during investigations and coordinate mitigation across CDNs

Requirements For Product Security Engineer
