Description For Senior AEM Engineer

Adobe is seeking a Senior AEM Engineer to join their team and help advance their efforts in building software that generates value for customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's leading technology companies, known for transforming how companies interact with customers across every screen.

As a Senior AEM Engineer, you will serve as an authoritative technical voice possessing deep expertise with AEM key architectural concepts. You'll be responsible for developing the future of the product through co-innovation, working directly with strategic customers to solve sophisticated business needs and build production-quality project-level innovations.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring you to both architect solutions and write code. You'll work with Adobe's most strategic customers to solve sophisticated business needs, validate solutions through real usage, and eventually bring those solutions into the core product. The position requires strong customer leadership experience and hands-on AEM implementation expertise.

You'll be joining a diverse, experienced, and hardworking team that provides access to an incredible pool of knowledge and resources. This environment offers continuous opportunities to grow your technical skills and take on new challenges. The role requires someone who loves technical challenges, has a customer-centric mentality, and possesses strong communication and development skills.

Key technical requirements include strong programming skills in Java and related frameworks (Apache Felix OSGi, Apache Oak, Apache Lucene, Apache Sling), experience with modern development tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit), and familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization. You'll also work with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.

Adobe offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $153,600 - $286,600 annually, plus opportunities for both short-term incentives through their Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) and long-term incentives through equity awards. The company is known for its exceptional work environment, regularly recognized on Best Companies lists, and its unique Check-In approach that promotes ongoing feedback and professional growth.

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior engineer who wants to make a significant impact on enterprise-scale software while working with cutting-edge technologies and directly influencing product direction through customer interactions.
