Description For Sr. Growth Data Scientist

Adobe is seeking an experienced Sr. Growth Data Scientist to join their Digital Imaging Data Science Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive product-led growth (PLG) strategy for Adobe's flagship products including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Fresco.

The position combines deep analytical expertise with strategic business impact, focusing on leveraging extensive product usage data to enhance customer experience and drive growth. You'll work at the intersection of data science and product strategy, partnering directly with product managers, designers, engineers, and marketing teams to translate data insights into actionable growth initiatives.

Key aspects of the role include analyzing user behavior patterns, designing sophisticated growth experiments, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You'll be responsible for developing and optimizing key PLG metrics, building predictive models for customer behavior, and creating efficient data pipelines to support decision-making.

Responsibilities For Sr. Growth Data Scientist

  • Analyze product usage patterns to understand user interactions
  • Partner with product teams to improve free trial and onboarding experiences
  • Identify and optimize PLG success metrics
  • Design and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments
  • Develop models for revenue attribution and customer churn
  • Build user segmentation models
  • Collaborate with data engineers on data pipelines
  • Build and maintain dashboards
  • Act as trusted advisor to PLG partners

Requirements For Sr. Growth Data Scientist

Python
  • MS or Ph.D. in data science, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, or economics
  • 10+ years of relevant data science experience
  • Deep understanding of PLG strategies and metrics
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning
  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or R
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Adobe Analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience addressing executive-level partners
  • Experience in designing and analyzing growth experiments for enterprise software (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Adobe's Creative Cloud suite (preferred)
