Python Developer - Rater Delivery

AIG is seeking a Python Developer for their North America Rater Delivery Team within Global Pricing – Actuarial. This role focuses on developing commercial rating solutions for underwriting teams while supporting strategic initiatives within the actuarial team. The position combines technical Python development with actuarial expertise, working alongside international counterparts, Product Actuaries, Underwriters, and other teams within Global Pricing.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing complex actuarial models on the python-based hyperexponential (hx) Rating Platform, enhancing common modules, and supporting product actuaries in developing pricing tools. The role requires strong Python programming skills, understanding of actuarial concepts, and experience with modern development practices including Git, testing frameworks, and Agile methodology.
