Platform Product Manager, Standards

Your role will involve working cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, and policy experts to ensure that Hosts and guests are educated about policies, violations are monitored and addressed, and disputes are resolved fairly. Your work will significantly impact the safety and trustworthiness of the Airbnb platform, directly contributing to the company's mission of creating a world where anyone can belong anywhere.

A typical day in this role includes:

• Creating vision and strategy for policy awareness, violation monitoring, and fair enforcement
• Leading cross-functional working groups to ensure alignment and successful product launches
• Maintaining product backlog and roadmap, prioritizing solutions based on business value and customer impact
• Defining goals with measurable objectives and key results
• Building alignment across product teams and leadership
• Anticipating bottlenecks and making tradeoffs
• Presenting product roadmap and status to leadership
• Evaluating new product opportunities and proposing solutions
• Developing short-term plans aligned with long-term goals for platform capabilities
• Becoming a thought leader in building products and platforms

To excel in this role, you should have:

• 8+ years of product management experience
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in design and hypothesis-driven product development
• Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work in an ambiguous environment
• Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites. The base pay range for this role is $174,000 - $206,500 USD, with potential eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
