The role sits within the Device Department's Deep Learning Team, focusing on developing cutting-edge video surveillance devices that combine NDAA-compliant hardware, advanced software, and embedded artificial intelligence. You'll be responsible for advancing the company's AI initiatives, working closely with data engineers and the labeling team to create, optimize, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models.
As a Senior Deep Learning Engineer, you'll need at least 2 years of experience in computer vision and deep learning, with expertise in popular CNN architectures and object detection frameworks. The position requires strong programming skills in Python and its ML ecosystem, including PyTorch, and experience optimizing models for embedded systems.

Responsibilities For Senior Deep Learning Engineer (Computer Vision)
- Developing AI direction in the company
- Working with data engineers and labeling team
- Creating, modifying, and optimizing models in Tensorflow/PyTorch
- Training, hyperparameter tuning, building model training pipelines with different datasets
- Optimizing finished models for embedded devices
- Debugging, error finding, and fixing
- Collaborating with data engineers to select the best data for models
- Writing process automation scripts
Requirements For Senior Deep Learning Engineer (Computer Vision)
- 2+ years of experience in developing, training, and researching deep learning models (computer vision)
- Deep understanding of popular convolutional network architectures and detectors
- Practical experience in object classification, detection, segmentation, and tracking
- Deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts
- Knowledge of popular CNN architectures (AlexNet, MobileNet) and detectors (YOLO, SSD)
- Proficiency in Python, numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, opencv, docker
- Practical experience with PyTorch
- Experience in deploying models to production
- Ability to optimize models for embedded systems (pruning, int8 quantization)
- Experience in data labeling with deep understanding of data requirements for ML tasks
