Description For Jira/Atlassian System Engineer

This role combines DevOps engineering with Atlassian platform expertise, requiring 2-5 years of experience working with Jira, Confluence, and related tools. Responsibilities For Jira/Atlassian System Engineer

  • Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of custom-built addons and plugins
  • Administer and optimize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and SQL databases
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts using Adaptavist ScriptRunner and Groovy
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide technical support and solutions to development teams
  • Collaborate with Atlassian Change Committee on system changes
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
  • Develop IT Asset Management using Assets
  • Install, update, and maintain Atlassian services
  • Document scripts, workflows, and processes
  • Build workflows and automation for self-serve Atlassian product usage

Requirements For Jira/Atlassian System Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years experience with Atlassian products
  • Proficiency in Git and CI/CD pipeline design
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Groovy, Bash, PowerShell)

  • Experience with Linux and Windows servers
  • Expertise with REST APIs and integration development
  • Experience with Atlassian server and datacenter products
