Responsibilities For Jira/Atlassian System Engineer
- Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of custom-built addons and plugins
- Administer and optimize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and SQL databases
- Develop and maintain custom scripts using Adaptavist ScriptRunner and Groovy
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Provide technical support and solutions to development teams
- Collaborate with Atlassian Change Committee on system changes
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Develop IT Asset Management using Assets
- Install, update, and maintain Atlassian services
- Document scripts, workflows, and processes
- Build workflows and automation for self-serve Atlassian product usage
Requirements For Jira/Atlassian System Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years experience with Atlassian products
- Proficiency in Git and CI/CD pipeline design
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Groovy, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python
- Experience with Linux and Windows servers
- Expertise with REST APIs and integration development
- Experience with Atlassian server and datacenter products
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Excellent communication skills
