Description For Staff Software Engineer, Core

Aleph, an AI-native platform revolutionizing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Core Product team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of financial decision-making technology at a rapidly growing startup backed by prestigious VCs like Bain Capital Ventures and Khosla Ventures.

The position involves working directly with the technical CEO, CTO, and engineering team to develop critical software that impacts both users and business outcomes. As a member of the Core Product team, you'll be responsible for building user-facing functionality in their web app and add-ins, helping finance and operations teams extract valuable insights from their data.

Aleph's platform centralizes financial data from various sources (Quickbooks, Netsuite, Salesforce) and leverages AI to automate reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting. The company serves notable clients like Webflow, Turo, Notion, and Zapier, with strong growth and low churn rates.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of software development experience, with significant expertise in system design and architecture. The tech stack includes GCP, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and BigQuery. This remote position is open to candidates across the Americas, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that's constantly shipping new features and pushing the boundaries of AI integration in financial software.

What makes this role particularly exciting is the chance to be an early team member, driving platform development from the ground up while working alongside technical founders with impressive backgrounds from Stanford and MIT. The position combines technical leadership with direct impact on product direction, making it perfect for a senior engineer looking to make a significant impact in the fintech space.
