Raw Materials Developer

Alo Yoga is seeking a Raw Materials Developer to join their team in Commerce, California. This role is part of the Raw Materials team, which shapes and engineers delight into Alo Yoga customer experiences by applying new thinking to knowledge generation, product functionality, manufacturing technology, and business processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the end-to-end seasonal RM development process
• Partnering with fabric suppliers to deliver innovative fabrics
• Upholding fabric development calendar and adhering to deadlines
• Coordinating meetings between mills, design & product development
• Completing input details of digital (PLM) /physical RM libraries
• Executing technical validation and approval process for Raw Materials
• Owning fabric testing reporting and risk assessments
• Following new fabric concepts through commercialization approval process
• Participating in weekly meetings with design team

Qualifications:

• 4 years of Fabric R&D/Production experience
• Knowledge of apparel manufacturing process and performance fabric testing protocols
• Strong raw material construction knowledge
• Understanding of raw material manufacturing techniques
• Awareness of raw material trend direction and R&D avenues
• Experience with AATCC and ASTM industry test methods
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
• Strong communication skills

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 per year, with additional benefits and rewards available. This is an on-site position in Commerce, California.
